The Fritts Family began performing
bluegrass and americana music in 1986. During the next twenty
years, an extensive touring schedule and the release of more than
a dozen albums would keep the group in high demand and help to
establish them as an important element on the current acoustic
music scene.
Their sound, while deeply rooted in the traditions of bluegrass,
folk, jazz, and even classical idioms is always fresh and inventive.
